KinderSmile Community Service Learning Program (KSCSLP)
Community Service Learning: KinderSmile Foundation (KSF) provides high school and college students an opportunity to learn about the growing dental health disparities among young children in our community. Serving as Junior Board Members for KSF, they volunteer in planning and organizing GKAS activities learn civic responsibilities and develop meaningful leadership and workplace skills. The project for 2010 involved, reaching out to children in an orphanage in Jamaica, West Indies. As Junior Board Members of KinderSmile Foundation, these dedicated students volunteered with KSF dental team to provide oral health education and built "Tooth Brush Stations" at the public school attended by the orphans.
