As we approach the end of 2025, we are filled with gratitude, and as we enter a year of uncertainties and loss of Medicaid coverage for so many, we look ahead with hope.
We urgently need support! More than 350,000 New Jersey residents will lose healthcare coverage with the upcoming Medicaid cuts! To put it in perspective, that is 1 of every 5 (20%) currently covered members, nearly 50,000 children, and half of the Expansion population!
For KinderSmile Foundation, it means that we expect our uninsured population to increase from 26% to 39%!
December 10th is designated as Human Rights Day!
This year, this annual event concentrates on promoting human rights as positive, essential and attainable.
Attaining equitable access to care and services, and reducing disparities in marginalized racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic communities rely on collective action and partnerships.
