Oral disease is a global epidemic that’s both preventable and urgent to solve!
From New Jersey to Stockholm, Sweden! KinderSmile Foundation’s very own CEO, Dr. Nicole McGrath-Barnes and COO, Dr. Michal Herman continue to lead the fight against oral health care inequity.
As leaders recognized throughout the country for their tireless commitment to public health dentistry, Dr. Nicole and Dr. Herman were invited to extend their efforts abroad at the International Exchange of Professionals – Thematic Event in Medicine 2025!
There, they gave a presentation at the 8th Annual World Congress of Oral and Dental Medicine, sharing their expertise on bridging the gap in access to oral health care.
Through their advocacy for public health dentistry and focus on workforce development, they continue to push for systemic change to improve the oral and overall health of marginalized communities.
A quote you’ll often hear from our CEO and COO is that “it takes a village!”
We are so proud of Dr. Nicole and Dr. Herman for representing KinderSmile Foundation at local, national, and global levels, BUT also for being themselves unapologetically, in a field where only .9% of providers identify as public health dentists!!!
Their dedication, passion, and leadership are an inspiration to us all. They will stop at nothing to drive change, advocate for equity, and shape a future where every individual has access to a dentist and preventable dental diseases are eradicated. #ItTakesAVillageKSF
