Although it is often needed, access to orthodontic treatment is very limited for underserved populations. Treatment is too costly and unattainable for many. For those who have a Medicaid plan, care is restricted to members with severe malocclusions, developmental problems, or jaw injuries, who can demonstrate a medical necessity. Organizations that are committed to bridging this gap create a pathway for change.
We are excited to announce our latest expansion, and partnership with Brace Face Foundation, initiated with two KinderSmile Foundation patients who will receive orthodontic care at no out of pocket cost!
This expansion marks the intersection between KinderSmile Foundation’s mission of providing access to comprehensive dental care, community collaboration, and Give Back a Smile volunteer orthodontists!
